How Bad Do You Want It?

How Bad Do You Want It?

We’re so glad you’ve decided to spend part of your day with us at Living Water Church. We pray that the message will inspire and encourage you to be all you can for Christ. Today we’re talking about How Bad We Want Something. Everyone want something but the question is How Bad? Are we just sitting around or are we pursuing? There’s a saying that tells us that Good Things Come To Those Who Wait…there’s a certain truth to that saying but how about this one Good Things Come To Those That WORK!

Today we’re talking about How Bad We Want Something. Everyone wants something, but the question is How Bad? Are we just sitting around or are we pursuing? There’s a saying that tells us that Good Things Come To Those Who Wait…there’s a certain truth to that saying but how about this one Good Things Come To Those That WORK!

John 5:2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, in Aramaic called Bethesda, which has five roofed colonnades. 3 In these lay a multitude of invalids—blind, lame, and paralyzed. 5 One man was there who had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?”7 The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me.” 8 Jesus said to him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.”9 And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked.

HOW THIRSTY ARE YOU?
Psalms 42:1 As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God.

Pursuit is the evidence of desire.

Mark 10:46 Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 48 Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 49 So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called.
Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.”
50 And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus.
51 So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?”
The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.”
52 Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.”And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.
