Coronavirus Statement

Dear Living Water Church Family,

This message is to share with you information related to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the steps we are taking to ensure the safety and well-being of our church family. We are taking this situation very seriously and are abiding by the guidance issued by the CDC.

Our Church has been and will continue to be diligent in its disinfecting routine of the building. Special attention is being given to areas of frequent contact, such as door handles, light switches and handrails.

According to public health officials, the way COVID-19 spreads is very similar to the flu and common colds. We encourage our members to be mindful of key preventive measures and to practice good habits, including:

  • Washing your hands regularly. Using soap and hot water, wash for about 20 seconds. Be sure to also wash your fingertips. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Avoiding coughing or sneezing into your hands or in the air. Always try to cough or sneeze into a tissue, and then throw the tissue away. If you don’t have a tissue, cough/sneeze into your arm.

  • Avoiding touching your eyes, mouth and nose as much as possible.

  • Remaining at home if you are feeling sick.

  • Remember that our Sunday Morning Service is streamed at https://lw.churchonline.org

Please rely on updates posted to the NYS Department of Health or the CDC website for the most accurate and timely information on the virus. We will continue to stay on top of developments regarding COVID-19 and will take the appropriate steps necessary to protect the health of all of our church.
