20/20 Vision – Seeing What God Sees

20/20 Vision Seeing What God Sees

We’re so glad you’ve decided to spend part of your day with us at Living Water Church. We pray that the message will inspire and encourage you to be all you can for Christ. 20/20 vision is the hallmark of NORMAL vision. When believers have NORMAL vision they see what God sees and they’re going to see the limitless opportunities for the purposes of advancing God’s Kingdom. It’s like a fulfillment of the prayers Jabez when he asked for enlarged territory.

Thank you for your support of Living Water Church

20/20 Vision – Seeing What God Sees
Sunday, January 5, 2020 – Pastors George & Joel Dupree

Isaiah 33:17 Your eyes will see the king in all his splendor, and you will see a land that stretches into the distance.

20/20 Vision is the hallmark for normal eyesight.

20/20 Vision – this is our Vision for the New Year and the New Decade beginning January 1, 2020, our 42nd Anniversary as the Church known as Living Water Church.

1 Chronicles 4:10 “Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked.”
Hindsight is 2020 – that means that it’s easier to see something after it has happened. With that saying goes this one “learn from your mistakes” That staying can’t stand alone… We also have to learn from our successes.

In this new 20/20 series we’ll be looking at these things:

How do you see God – Always with us
Genesis 28:16 Surely the LORD is in this place, and I wasn’t even aware of it.

How do you see yourself – As a masterpiece
Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago

How do you see the world – A world of opportunities
Ephesians 5:16 Make the most of every opportunity for doing good in these evil days

How do you see the Church – A place of God’s Glory & Power
Ephesians 3:21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

The Church We Want To Be:

1 – A Church that is vibrant and full of people

2 – A church that allows God into the church by opening the door to the heart of Him

3 – A Church that is just as alive and vocal in the community as we are in the sanctuary

4 – A Church that explodes with expectation and excitement for the WORD of God

5 – A Church that is growing because God is sending in people because we are inviting people.

6 – A Church where the youth and children’s ministries are exploding with growth. Where these ministries are no longer struggling but become a key factor in all that God is doing in this place.

7 – A Church full of people who love to be at church.

8 – A Church that develops leaders.

9 – A Church where leaders take responsibility and lead; they lead in order to fulfill the vision that God has given to the set man or Lead Pastor.

10 – A church that allows God into the church by opening the door to the heart of Him

11 – A Church that will guard and maintain unity, both in the leadership and the members. If a Church does this they will experience revival.

12 – A Church that puts the salvation of the lost front and center. 13 – A move of God will follow the desire to see people saved.

14 – A Church where families are growing stronger every single week.

15 – A Church that has to hire more staff members because of growth otherwise the staff won’t be able to keep up.

16 – A Church that has to make room for multiple weekend services because we are overflowing.

17 – A Church that has to build to accommodate the growth of our children’s and youth departments.

18 – A Church that worships from the heart

19 – A Church where teenagers are on fire for God and they play an integral part in our Church

20 – A Church that helps the poor within and outside of our community.

21 – A Church that raises up leaders outside of our community

22 – A Church that takes part in planting other Churches

23 – A healthy Church.
