FULL OF EMOTIONS (Now what?)

Did you ever come across people who do not want to resolve their problems. They are those who don’t really ask for advice. They just want someone to listen to them talk.  Other people might not be emotionally strong. When trouble, challenges or problems come their way, they cannot cope very well.

When crisis strikes, many people do not have a strategy to handle adversity, failure and stress in a positive fashion. When pressure increases in a container, what happens? Eventually it explodes, doesn’t it? This is what happens to people who lack the ability to deal with stress induced situations.

Without the fortitude and courage to face the challenges, people either give up, breakdown or resort to unhealthy habits of addictions.

Today, if you feel weak in a situation and you feel overwhelmed, become proactive. By doing this, you take the first step to become emotionally strong. Say this, “I am strong.” Remember the Bible says, “let the weak say I am strong.”

People who have this mindset never say, “that’s how I feel, I can’t help it,” or “I can’t forgive them for what they did.” Do not ever be the victim of your own feelings. If you are emotionally down, begin to sing as the prescription for depression is written to you by Isaiah the Prophet in Chapt. 61:3; “put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, etc……..

What is he saying? He is telling us motions are the precursors of emotions. Follow this prescription as you would any other prescription given to you by a doctor for an ailment.

By taking this prescription, you will always set in motion any attempt to ward off any regrettable emotions that might affect or hurt someone else. Do what is right and feelings will follow. Don’t wait to feel right to do something.
